Authorities from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to a reported shooting incident on Friday night around 9:58 pm in the 11400 block of Stewart Lane. Two juveniles were taken into custody after crashing a stolen vehicle around 2am on Friday, June 2 in Montgomery Village. According to MCPD, “Officers responded to the 19200 block of Watkins Mill Road for the report of a suspicious situation. A vehicle was observed leaving the area. The vehicle began to drive erratically. Officers initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle was involved in a collision before it was determined to be stolen. Man Arrested for Property Destruction with Shovel and Post Hole Digger
A man in Arlington, Mario Tellez, was arrested for damaging two residences with a shovel and a post hole digger. The first incident was reported on June 1st when a caller reported an unknown male attempting to break into their residence using a shovel, which was caught on Ring doorbell footage. Tellez was quickly detained and charged with felony destruction of property and breaking and entering. The victim's residence had a shattered window, destroyed lock, and scattered paving bricks. Police investigating after man harassed, groped women on Trolley Trail
BETHESDA, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Patrol Investigations Unit is probing a series of inappropriate touching incidents along the Trolley Trail between Edson Lane and Tuckerman Lane. The suspect, who was caught on video, reportedly harassed women in the neighborhood adjacent to the trail.
