A man conspiring with a convict inside a DC jail has admitted to bribing a public official to smuggle drugs inside the facility. Keywaune McLeod, 28, of Washington, DC, pleaded guilty this week to one count of bribery following a scheme he ran with a corrections officer and drug supplier to get contraband inside the District’s Central Detention Facility (CDF).

WASHINGTON - A teenage boy is dead, D.C. police reported, after a shooting in Southeast Tuesday night. Officers are still in the area investigating the incident. D.C. police said the call reporting the shooting came in at 9:05 p.m. The officers who responded to the scene in the 2200 block of Alabama Avenue SE said they found two teenage boys suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Driver arrested following two state pursuit, speeds got up to 130 mph
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A 33-year-old suspect out of Washington D.C. is accused of leading police agencies in two states on a high speed pursuit Tuesday night. The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says the pursuit started in White Pigeon just before 7:30 p.m. when police tried to stop a white SUV speeding through the village.

WASHINGTON, DC - The District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency (DCHFA) has financed the rehabilitation of 202 affordable apartments at scattered sites across Wards 7 and 8. DCHFA issued $43.1 million in tax exempt bonds for the acquisition and rehabilitation of this 16-building community formerly known as WDC 1 which spans Anacostia, Marshall Heights and Fort Dupont. The Agency also underwrote $33.4 million in federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) equity and $6.4 million in D.C. LIHTC equity to finance this redevelopment.
