Two arrested after burglary in Central Point
CENTRAL POINT, Ore. -- Two people have been arrested after allegedly committing a burglary yesterday morning in Central Point. According to a Facebook post from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, it started when police heard about a burglary in the 5700 block of Upton Road. They were able to find the suspects -- 44-year-old Kelli Margaret Hernandez of Medford and 28-year-old Mickey Ray Galatz of Central Point -- later.

Update, April. 25 at 9:20 a.m.: The fences in White City are cleaner today after the community spent an 1.5 hours cleaning off graffiti. Project G.R.A.C.E. with community partners power washed the fence, seen above. The boards had been rotated to obscure the language in the panels but today, that will no longer be a concern.

Medford approves nearly $1 million in funding for stormwater treatment
MEDFORD, Ore. – Medford is moving forward with a project to improve the quality of stormwater runoff going into a portion of Bear Creek. Medford City Council approved a contract with MC Carlton Contracting, Inc. during last Thursday’s meeting to put $949,350 towards the project. The funding is going towards relocating the existing storm drain on N Riverside Ave. and installing a regional stormwater facility in the Liberty Park neighborhood.
