UPDATE, 4:25 p.m.: The Ashland Police Department has released more information about the incident. According to the release, police responded at about 1:15 today in the 700 block of Glendale Avenue. The cougar had attacked a cat, and police found signs that the cougar had eaten and attacked other wildlife too.
