Man accused of aggressive driving arrested for allegedly driving impaired
EUGENE, Ore. – A man who was accused of aggressive driving behavior was arrested on Tuesday evening in Eugene for allegedly driving impaired, according to court records. A family reported to Eugene police on March 27 an alleged drunk driver in a pickup truck who was tailgating them, honking, and following them as the family drove downtown. Police had already been on the lookout for a drunk driver in a GMC pickup that was first reported to be near Hunsaker Lane and River Road at about 6 p.m. on the same night. While looking for this truck, police received a second call from the driver of a Kia Optima who said a truck was behind their car near West 7th Avenue and Washington Street. The officer who staged a few blocks away in the Whiteaker area eventually spotted the Kia and the truck as they passed through the area and pulled over the GMC’s driver, who Eugene police said briefly drove up onto the sidewalk and down the road a short distance before coming to a stop in a parking lot.

Low Retreats, Clouds, Chance Showers
Good Morning. We are mostly dry to start the things off. The big weather movement today will be forced by the change in position of the offshore system that we have been under the spell of for the last few days. It will be tracking South today which will push cloud coverage in from its Eastern edge. This will also allow for high pressure to begin to build and set the pace for our warming and drying trend. Because of this, temps will be in the top end of the 50's today with 60 degrees possible. In the late afternoon, a final shot of moisture will sling in from the Southeast and bring some rain chances into the Valley along with snow over the Mountains.
