Baseball: Pumas' offense sputters in loss to Lakeside Lutheran
Limited to one hit, the Poynette baseball team fell to Lakeside Lutheran 10-0 on the road on Thursday, April 25. Lakeside only had seven hits, but the Pumas committed three errors to help the Warriors. Justin Wells pitched for the Pumas (2-7 overall, 0-3 in Capitol North Conference play), going four innings and allowing eight runs – only five were earned. Wells walked five and struck out four. "Again, we just couldn't get anything going offensively," said Davy Tomlinson, head coach for Poynette.
