WEST ALLIS -- Lakeside Lutheran senior Karsten Grundahl won the 800-meter run at Friday's Hale Distance Night held at West Allis Nathan Hale High School. Grundahl posted a time of 1 minute, 55.01 seconds to come out on top in the 33-runner field. Hudson senior Brock Bjerke took second in 1:56.81 and sixteen individuals broke the two-minute mark. Warriors senior Cameron Weiland took ninth in the 35-runner 3,200 in a personal record time of 9:30.17.
