(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam School Board has accepted a donation of $125-thousand dollars from the fundraising group “Leave Your Legacy,” to add lights to the high school’s baseball field. Director of Business Ryan Cashman says lighting the baseball field will enhance access and opportunity for high school baseball, youth baseball, and the American Legion Post 146 program. He says according to the district’s five-year facility plan, the lights will be added in the 2024-2025 fiscal year. Future outdoor facility planning and upgrades also include an additional softball field as well as lights, and replacing antiquated lighting at the current football/track and field complex.
