MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The storm system that we’ve been tracking for the last 5 days will be moving into southern Wisconsin this evening. Our First Alert Day continues as parts of the region could see severe storms producing damaging winds, large hail, and possibly tornadoes. The severe threat has increased a bit since last night, as it looks like the warm front may progress a bit farther north. Dane County is now in a level 2 threat for severe storms, while parts of Grant County including Platteville and Prairie Du Chien are now in a level 3 risk. Grant County is under a Tornado Watch until 8 PM. Be prepared to take cover from any strong storms tonight.
