Three additional Walmart stores are set to close in the coming weeks, according to multiple reports. Walmart will close two stores in California and one in Maryland, Business Insider reported, bringing the total number of shutdowns this year to six. KSP: Ohio man arrested after hiding from police under a camper
PIKE CO., Ky. (WYMT) - A Columbus, Ohio man is facing charges after he took off from police during a traffic checkpoint. In an arrest citation obtained by WYMT, troopers with Kentucky State Police stopped Thomas Jervis, 38, at checkpoint near the intersection of KY-1056 and Peter Fork Road. When troopers asked Jervis to pull over to the side, they said he took off at a high rate of speed and left the scene.
Grove City Council to vote on allowing medical marijuana dispensaries
Grove City Council will decide Monday night whether or not to allow medical marijuana dispensaries to operate in the city. The seven council members voted in February not to ban all marijuana sales after Mayor Ike Stage tried to push an expansion of their current ban. Over 57% of Ohioans and almost the same percentage of Grove City residents voted "yes" on Issue 2 in November to legalize adult-use recreational weed.
