    Boys golf roundup: Lakeside 10th, Lake Mills 11th at Evansville Invite; Stilling leads L-Cats at Lodi

    EVANSVILLE — Lakeside Lutheran took 10th and Lake Mills finished 11 at Friday’s Evansville Invite contested at Evansville Golf Club.

    The Warriors shot 376. Senior Cooper Jensen shot 91, senior Kooper Mlsna shot 92, junior Reilly Jobke shot 96 and sophomore Henry Moore shot 97.

    Lake Mills shot 380 and took 11th. Senior KC Hagedorn shot 91, junior Preston Thiede shot 92, freshman Justin Stilling shot 98 and sophomore Hayden O’Connor shot 99.

    Edgerton counted four scores of 83 or better, including a pair of 77s, to shoot 319 and fend off Lodi, which got a medalist-winning round of 75 by senior Walter Beld, by six strokes for the team title.

    Team scores: Edgerton 319, Lodi 325, Big Foot 343, Monroe 351, McFarland 354, New Glarus 355, East Troy 361, Jefferson 373, Evansville 373, Lakeside Lutheran 376, Lake Mills 380, Columbus 390, Brodhead 390, Clinton 392, Whitewater 400, Parkview 418, Palmyra-Eagle incomplete.

    THURSDAY’S RESULTS

    SPRING GREEN — Lake Mills took fifth and Lakeside finished eighth at the season’s fourth Capitol Conference boys golf mini meet, which was hosted by House on the Rock Resort on Thursday, April 25.

    The L-Cats shot 184. Senior KC Hagedorn shot 42, tying for seventh. Freshman Justin Stilling shot 45, junior Preston Thiede shot 47 and freshman Ben Nordby shot 49.

    The Warriors shot 204. Senior Kooper Mlsna (48), sophomore Henry Moore (49), senior Cooper Jensen (51) and sophomore Jackson Moore (56) scored for the Warriors.

    Team scores: Cambridge 164, Monticello/Belleville 170, Lodi 174, New Glarus 180, Lake Mills 184, Columbus 194, Wisconsin Heights 200, Lakeside Lutheran 204.

    MONDAY’S RESULTS

    LODI — Lake Mills took fourth and Lakeside Lutheran finished fifth at the Capitol Conference mini meet at Lakeland Hills Country Club on Monday, April 22.

    Lake Mills shot 174, led by freshman Justin Stilling’s round of 39 to finish fifth individually. Junior Preston Thiede shot 43 and senior KC Hagedorn and freshman Ben Nordby both shot 46.

    Lakeside shot 181. Senior Kooper Mlsna and sophomore Henry Moore led the Warriors with rounds of 42s, tying for eighth. Senior Cooper Jensen shot 46 and Lakeside counted one of the 51s carded by junior Reilly Jobke and sophomore Jackson Moore.

    Lodi senior Walter Beld shot 2-under 33 to win medalist honors by two strokes.

    Team scores: Cambridge 157, Lodi 159, Monticello/Belleville 171, Lake Mills 174, Lakeside Lutheran 181, New Glarus 185, Columbus 195, Wisconsin Heights 198.
