Russell Westbrook Getting Crushed for Performance in Clippers-Mavericks Series

Russell Westbrook is taking significant heat prior to Game 6 of the Clippers-Mavericks first-round NBA playoff series on Friday.

Westbrook, after going 5-of-8 from the field in the Clippers' Game 1 victory, has been going through a major shooting slump over the last four games of the series.

He went a combined 6-of-35 from the field during Games 2-5.

The 13 points Westbrook scored in Game 1 mark a series-high for the Clippers veteran. He scored 7 points in Game 2 before going 0-of-7 from the field in Game 3, scoring just a single point in the L.A. loss.

He dropped a combined 11 points across Games 4 and 5, shooting just 4-of-19 from the field.

"My jaw just hit the floor," one fan said, reacting to Westbrook's Games 2-5 performances.
