PGA Tour golfer and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is currently preparing for his round one tee time at the Charles Schwab Challenge this Thursday afternoon.

With that said, though, his arrest last week before round two of the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club continues to dominate headlines in the world of golf. Earlier today, Scheffler's attorney - Steve Romines - told reporters they have no interest in settling the case, indicating it will either be dismissed or head to trial.

Just hours later this Thursday, a new video showing the moments directly before and during Scheffler's arrest was shared to social media.

    Take a look:

It's difficult to make out exactly what's happening in the above video - but if you look towards the top left of the screen, you can see the front gates to Valhalla Golf Club.

Scheffler's vehicle can be seen performing a left turn before an officer attached himself to the car, eventually completing the arrest.

The new video of Scheffler's arrest has left fans feeling the same way about the charges brought against the PGA Tour golfer .

"This does not seem to corroborate the officer's report of dragging and 'ruining' his $80 pair of pants," David said.

"Didn’t the cop say he was 'dragged' by Scheffler’s car with injuries that sent him to the hospital? There’s nothing here that looks like his $80 pants ripped either They went on a power trip, lied about what happened, then embellished the story. Shocker," Matt said.

It appears this story won't be going away quickly.

We'll keep an eye out for updates.
