Arch Manning is heading into his second season as a member of the Texas Longhorns football program.

Manning committed to the program as nation's No. 1 ranked recruit before the 2023 college football season. And despite appearing in just two contests, the nephew of Peyton and Eli is already one of the biggest names in the college game.

Before arriving at Texas for his freshman season, Manning put together an elite high school career — both on and off the field. In addition to all his accolades as a superstar quarterback, he also graduated from Isidore Newman with an impressive 3.5 GPA.

"Manning has maintained a 3.50 GPA in the classroom. Taking advantage of NCAA early signing rules, Manning inked a financial-aid agreement that paved the way for him to enroll at the University of Texas. He graduated from high school in December and will attend classes this spring semester," Manning's 2022-23 Gatorade Louisiana Football Player of the Year profile reads.

Manning is a Communication and Leadership major at the University of Texas. In his freshman year, he was named as a member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

In his first collegiate season with head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns, Manning served as a third-string quarterback option behind starter Quinn Ewers and primary backup Maalik Murphy.

With Murphy's transfer to Duke and Ewers' return for another season, Manning is now the primary backup heading into Year 2.
