Big girls throw down in Austin like they’re in the UFC
As someone who has visited Austin’s 6th Street in the past, it’s disappointing to hear that the area has become more risky in recent years. While 6th Street used to be a place where people could go to have a good time and enjoy live music, it seems that tussles and incidents have become more common, for example the one caught on video here.
Austin's professional softball team Texas Smoke to debut June 15

The Texas Smoke, a women’s professional softball team, will make their debut at Concordia University Texas’ Roberts Family Field with a June 15 game.
Pilots are Texas Bound for NCAA Championships

The Auburn track and field program will have 10 athletes competing at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Austin, Texas, from June 7-10. Seven men will compete in six events on the first day, including Erik Ebel, Kyle Brown and Kyle Moison in the men's hammer throw. After getting hit in head, Texas catcher Garret Guillemette allowed to return to game
CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Following a scary moment at Mark Light Field, Texas catcher Garret Guillemette has returned to the field. During the third inning of a regional game between Texas and Miami, Guillemette was drilled in the head by a Karson Ligon pitch. Guillemette immediately dropped to the ground and was quickly tended to by the Texas training staff and UT coach David Pierce. After pleading his case to remain in the game, Guillemette eventually jogged to first base.
