Judge dismisses suit over State College police fatally shooting autistic man
WILLIAMSPORT — A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought by the father of an autistic man killed by State College police in 2019. In granting summary judgment to the defendants Monday, U. S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann pointed out the officers are not mental health professionals.

Charges are pending against a man accused of killing a dog while under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms on Saturday in Penns Valley. Robert N. Lewis, 41, of Centre Hall, allegedly stabbed an American bulldog, Axel, multiple times just before 8 p.m. in Miles Township.
