Teen critically injured after being shot inside North Philadelphia recording studio

Three members of an alleged retail theft ring, dubbed the 'Diaper Crew' by Philadelphia police, have been arrested.The fourth suspect is expected to surrender on Monday.The crew is tied to thefts from more than 20 stores, and police say they got away with merchandise worth more than $15,000.The name comes from one of the main items they stole.They mainly targeted Family Dollars, Dollar Generals, and Rite Aids all over Philadelphia.However, they were concentrating on two specific neighborhoods: Juniata Park and Fox Chase. Fire erupts inside Dow facility in Bristol, Bucks County
Firefighters responded to a fire inside a Bucks County chemical plant on Friday morning.The fire happened around 10:30 a.m. in the Dow Research & Development facility at 310 George Patterson Blvd. adjacent to Dow's Bristol Croydon Operations site.The fire was brought under control at 1:20 p.m.Company officials say there is no impact to the community. Some areas nearby were evacuated as a precaution.There was also no impact on production at the facilities.The company said all Dow personnel are accounted for.Dow said it will conduct a full investigation into the incident.There is no word on what sparked the fire.No one was injured.
Shelter Me: Super sweet older cat, Heph, looking for fur-ever home in his golden years
This week, 6abc's Shelter Me spotlighted a super sweet older cat named Hephaestus, also known as Heph for short.Heph is an 11-year-old kitty who is looking for someone to love!He loves head rubs, snacks and is searching for a family to call his own in his golden years.He found himself at Philly PAWS after his previous owner was no longer able to care for him.Heph is part of PAWS's Perfectly Impurrfect campaign. Shelter officials say he does have diabetes and eats prescription wet food, which he loves! Bodycam footage released in fatal Hamilton Township police-involved shooting
The New Jersey Attorney General's Office released body camera footage of an officer-involved shooting that left a man dead in Mercer County.It happened around 10 p.m. on March 8 on the 1800 block of Orchard Avenue.Officers were called to the home for a reported domestic dispute.After speaking with a relative outside, bodycam video shows officers walking in as they're almost immediately met with gunfire.During the encounter, Hamilton Township Police Officers Derek Fiabane and Paul Piromalli exchanged gunfire with 44-year-old Vincent Correa inside the home.Officer Fiabane and Correa were both shot.Correa was pronounced dead at the scene. A rifle and a handgun were recovered in his possession.Officer Fiabane was transported to a hospital with non-fatal injuries and has since been released.The investigation into the shooting remains under investigation.
Plane crash near site of Wisconsin air show leaves Philadelphia man dead
A plane crash in Nekimi, Wisconsin, left two people dead on Monday, including a Philadelphia man."This is really tragic," said David McVinnie who is the chief instructor of McVinnie Aviation.The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office found the bodies of Sean Tommervik, 37, of El Paso, Texas, who recently moved to Philadelphia, and James Sullivan, 32, of Nashville, Tennessee, who recently moved to of Brooklyn, New York."Sean was professional in all aspects," said McVinnie.
