Bronny James' Agent Drops Admission About LeBron's Impact on his NBA Draft Stock

Bronny James raised his NBA Draft stock significantly during his performance at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine.

The son of LeBron James showed that he's among the most athletic players in his draft class, and scored enough during the Combine's scrimmage portions to prove that he can create his own offense in the professional game.

Yet, no matter how well he plays, many fans believe that Bronny's biggest asset will always be being LeBron's son.

And Bronny's agent Rich Paul addressed that exact sentiment during an interview with Bleacher Report, which released on Friday.

When asked about Bronny getting "special treatment" because of his father’s name, Paul defended Bronny by saying, “Some may feel like he's getting an opportunity because of his father and I think that's a very naive logic, especially in America.

"When you look at America as a whole, it's built on the nepotism," Paul continued. "No one's having this conversation about Jim Dolan. He owns the Knicks, but his dad built a business.”

Paul's take is an interesting one. Although it probably isn't how fans — or NBA GM's — want to hear Paul talking about Bronny's on-court ability.
