Angel Reese's Postgame Interaction With Breanna Stewart Is Going Viral

Angel Reese faced off against reigning WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart in their first-ever regular season bout. Stewart is known as one of the most versatile players in the game, with an elite offensive skill set, but Reese shut that down pretty quickly.

Stewart finished the game with 18 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 0-5 from the field in the first half with three points. While she was able to get in rhythm late in the game, Reese held her own and was able to spark a victory for the Chicago Sky.

The Sky's win over the New York Liberty marks the first loss for NY this season. Reese challenged the boss and came out at the top of the game.

Following the matchup, Reese and Stewart met at half-court, greeting each other with open arms.

Reese entered the league as a star, but it was unclear if she would be able to influence the game right off the bat.

With her incredible play on the court, she's gaining immense respect from veterans who have paved the way, like Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.
