Angel Reese’s Mom Reveals Honest Truth About Viral Caitlin Clark Post

Angel Reese's mom wants to set the record straight about her daughter's supposed beef with Caitlin Clark.

On Thursday, Reese made a post on X that wrote, "And that's on getting a WIN in a packed area not just cause of one player on our charter flight."

Most fans believed that the post was a reference to Clark, as she is considered a main reason why the WNBA recently decided to charter flights for all 12 WNBA teams to and from away games.

Reese has since deleted the post, amid fan backlash that she was starting another beef with Clark.

Reese's mom took to X on Saturday to clarify that her daughter's post was not directed at Clark.

"She was not attacking CC [Clark] but bc you & the rest of those 'children of the corn' folks thought she was & once again sending her racist & vile comments she did," Reese's mother wrote on X.

"Her comment was directed towards the media but of course you're about clicks," she wrote with a shrugging emoji.

Reese's Chicago Sky are playing the Connecticut Sun on Saturday. Perhaps she'll be addressing the deleted post (or her mom's response) once the game is over.
