Former Michigan Wolverines cornerback Amorion Walker entered the college football transfer portal in January following the 2023 national championship campaign. Walker decided to transfer closer to his home in Louisiana by committing to Ole Miss but now he’s reportedly re-entering the transfer portal and his former program is one of the schools to keep your eye on.

Walker played sparingly, mostly once the win was firmly in hand, during his two seasons in the Maize & Blue. He played in five games during the 2023 season recording three tackles and a pass breakup. The Wolverines are firm at one of their cornerback positions with Will Johnson who could be the best corner in college football. The other side of the defense is going to be a competition, much like it was in 2023 to start the season.
