As that one relatable fat cat that ate lasagna once said "I hate Mondays" and this particular Monday evening may be one that Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray hates forever.

On top of his squad getting smacked by the Minnesota Timberwolves 106-80, despite Rudy Gobert's absence, he also had a complete meltdown. Murray finished the game with just eight points on 3-of-18 shooting and may get suspended for throwing a heat pack onto the floor during the action. To take it a step further, he also could get fined for a gesture he made at the refs.

In the second quarter of game two, Murray was caught on camera walking away from a referee and making what appeared to be a money gesture. Whether he was hinting that he thinks the refs were rigging the game in some manner or foreshadowing his presumed fine, it has certainly caught the attention of many fans.

Monday night marked his worst showing of the playoffs thus far, and could be consequential for the team's immediate future. If the Nuggets are forced to play without Murray, they may watch their hopes fly away just like the heating pad flew out of Murray's hand.
