Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith isn't the only winner from his massive contract extension.

The 2020 Heisman Trophy winner from Alabama agreed with the Eagles on a three-year, $75 million contract extension, which should benefit other wideouts due for a raise.

Former NFL general manager and current ESPN analyst Mike Tannenbaum listed several, including Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who are seeking extensions.

ESPN's Tim McManus notes that Smith and Eagles teammate A.J. Brown are two of five receivers with contracts with an average annual value of at least $25 million.

That number will likely grow before the start of the 2024 season. Jefferson, Chase and Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb are No. 1 wide receivers due for extensions, and all should command deals worth more on an annual basis than Smith.

Meanwhile, Chase's Bengals teammate Tee Higgins can point to Smith as Philadelphia's No. 2 wide receiver as an example of the type of contract he should receive.
