Vermilya wins Player of the Year, Mullet and Geiser named first-team All-Ohio
The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association released its All-Ohio girls basketball teams Monday and Tuesday, with plenty of representation from the Wayne/Holmes area. Loudonville's Corri Vermilya headlined the area's All-Ohio group, earning Division IV Player of the Year honors. Vermilya, the runner-up for Ms. Basketball, led Loudonville to its second regional title in school history, re-writing the school record book along the way.
