Wayne County Sports Hall of Fame to induct 10 new members in 2024
The Wayne County Sports Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2024, which will be inducted at a ceremony on Saturday, June 22 at the Greystone Event Center in Wooster. The 24th WCSHOF class consists of Nick Bellanco, Mike Breckenridge, Barb Davis, Terry Dilyard, Brad Doty, Beth Green, Mason Monheim, Erica (Short) Baker, Rhonda Schaffer-Smith and Harold Weaver.

Wadsworth discussing new interurban trail extension
WADSWORTH — The city of Wadsworth is working to extend the city’s interurban trail, creating a safer section on the trail. Interim Service Director Matt Hiscock said the trail is currently used for recreation in nature through walking, jogging and biking. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources initially funded the trail with its Clean Ohio Fund. The trail connects various points in Wadsworth, covering a path from the downtown area to the Trolley Line Park and Trolley Line House, with stops at Van Auken and Miller Field.
