One man hospitalized following two vehicle crash on Grand Central Ave.
VIENNA, W.Va. (WTAP) - A two vehicle crash on Grand Central Avenue sent one driver to the hospital on Sunday. At around noon, the driver of a maroon Honda Odyssey turned right out of the gas station at 7023 Grand Central Avenue. The Odyssey collided with a Ford F250 travelling south on Grand Central.
Multiple Individuals Arrested and Charged in Washington County, Ohio in May 2023
Between May 20 and May 24, 2023, several individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail in Ohio. Bradley Matthew Gill, age 23, from Waterford, OH, was charged with multiple misdemeanors including failure to comply, obstructing official business, hit skip, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, and reckless operations.

Riverboats to make stops in Marietta
MARIETTA — A total of 14 visits by riverboats are planned this year at the Ohio River Levee in Marietta, the Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau said. Several years ago I decided to take the time and drive around our town to see for myself what areas and places really needed some TLC. My first observation was a triangle in the middle of Emerson and Dudley avenues that was neglected with overgrown grass and weeds, which caused me to contact the city to see if they would help to correct this sore spot with light posts and beautification of the area. I was hoping to get nice fancy lights like the ones on Market Street downtown and they liked my idea. I didn’t get the fancy lights I was hoping for, but it was better than no lights.

Police Blotter: Fraudulent Charges, Traffic Violations, and Drug Arrests in Washington County
On May 22, 2023, Deputy Derkin began investigating fraudulent charges of over $8,000 from a Muskingum Township resident's bank account. Deputy Harlow completed a private property accident report for Maria Fisher, whose vehicle struck a parked vehicle in Beverly, OH. Deputy Derkin also began investigating the use of a Job and Family Services card by someone other than the intended recipient. On the same day, Sgt. Stillson was dispatched to Waterford Township regarding prescription medication being taken and destroyed. The following day, Sgt. Stillson responded to a report of a subject doing donuts in a parking lot in Muskingum Township, and issued a citation to David Benjamin Goldberg for willful or wanton disregard of the safety of persons or property.
