Ohio University Student Senate held a vote of no confidence to remove Vice President Isaac Davis in an executive session Wednesday. Wood County Commissioners hear coroner’s report for 2023
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The Wood County Commissioners heard end-of-year statistics from the Wood County Coroner during their meeting Thursday. Coroner Michael St. Clair said just over 1209 people died in Wood County in 2023. Of those deaths, 154 qualified as cases for the coroner’s office due to the causes of death. The coroner’s office only becomes involved in deaths involving homicide, suicide, drug overdose, car crashes, or other atypical causes of death.
