Rain out of the way for the morning commute

Cloud cover will be ample this morning but will diminish to partly cloudy skies before the lunchtime hour and continue into the afternoon. Temperatures will be on the mild side to start with 50s across the region, but with the cold front passing by, we will not warm up that much this afternoon. Daytime highs will only be in the mid-60s, a bit cooler than yesterday afternoon. Winds will be on the lighter side today with a northwest wind of around 5 to 10 mph.

Most of the region will see temperatures starting off early this morning in the mid to upper 30s. However, there is a difference with the morning we have right now compared to yesterday. The difference is that we will not have to wait for it to warm up. Once we get the sun up in the sky, we will start to warm up. By 9 a.m. this morning, we are out of the 30s and even the 40s. By 10 a.m., we are getting close to the 60-degree mark. So, you will feel that warm up today and even into the afternoon.
