Matt Leinart Reacts to Reggie Bush's Heisman Trophy Reinstatement Using One Word

Former USC quarterback Matt Leinart used one word to react to Reggie Bush, his former teammate, getting his Heisman Trophy back.

The NCAA forced Bush to forfeit his 2005 Heisman Trophy in 2010. An NCAA investigation discovered Bush received improper benefits during his Trojans career (2003-05) and, as a result, took away his prestigious hardware.

On Wednesday, the situation took an unexpected turn, as Bush received his Heisman Trophy back. The NCAA deemed Bush worthy of the award because of how the college football landscape has changed in recent years, particularly players being able to benefit off their Name, Image and Likeness.

It's a big day for Bush and USC family. Right after the 2005 Heisman Trophy received the award back, Leinart facetimed Bush and shared a screenshot and one-word reaction on X (formerly known as Twitter).

"LFG," Leinart said.

What an awesome moment for Bush. It's so deserved, too.

Congrats, Reggie.
