Charlotte Bar That Upset Panthers Owner Fires Back With New Message

During the week of the 2024 NFL draft, a local Charlotte bar, Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, posted a sign attacking Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper.

The sign read "Please let the coach and GM pick this year."

Tepper was not a huge fan of this and showed up at the bar to confront employees of the bar about the sign, harassing the manager by taking off his hat in the process.

Fast forward to today, the bar has a new sign posted out front, firing back at Tepper for his actions towards the employees. The new sign reads "Hats off to the new Panthers."

The new sign jokes about Tepper taking off the manager's hat while congratulating the newest draftees of the Panthers. A clever pun by Matt Wohlfarth, the bar's owner and sign creator.

Both signs were posted to social media along with Tepper's antics and can be seen below in chronological order.
