A former five-star Duke recruit is headed to the Big Ten.

Forward Sean Stewart, who was also a former McDonald's All-American, announced his commitment to Ohio State on Friday.

A member of the 2023 recruiting class, he was the No. 5 power forward in 247 Sports' composite rankings that year.

He appeared in 33 games for the Blue Devils in 2023-24 and averaged 2.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in only 8.3 minutes per game.

Stewart is an important signing for first-year Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler, who was hired after serving as interim head coach for last season's final 11 games.

The 6-foot-8 Stewart joins 7-1 transfer from Kentucky Aaron Bradshaw as the second significant front-court addition by Diebler this offseason.

Bradshaw ranked No. 4 nationally in 247Sports Composite 2023 rankings.
