Cam Newton Issues Simple Challenge To Panthers Owner David Tepper Following Recent Antics

On the day of the NFL draft, Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper was involved in some more shenanigans as he harassed a local bar's staff due to a sign they posted in front of their building.

The sign said "Please let the coach and GM pick this year," calling out Tepper for his history of poor choices involving the team.

Tepper showed up at the bar, Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, and talked to some of the staff about the sign and proceeded to harass the bar manager, taking off the manager's hat in the process. It wasn't the most hostile act Tepper has been involved in, but it caught fans' eyes.

Former Panther quarterback Cam Newton had some comments regarding the incident on his "4th and 1 Show" on YouTube, issuing a challenge to Tepper to not get into trouble throughout the entire upcoming football season.

"Look, I would challenge David Tepper to go this whole football season without getting in trouble," Newton said, "That's why I like him. He's got some s**t to him, but that ain't it. That's how you lose a fanbase."

Hopefully Tepper can fulfill Newton's challenge and stay out of trouble, for the sake of Panthers fans.
