The Colorado Buffaloes could be without one of their key players for the start of the 2024 season.

According to a report by FanNation's Buffs Beat , Deion Sanders' son and starting safety, Shilo Sanders, is set to miss "at least" six months due after undergoing shoulder surgery. Ahead of their recent spring game, he can be seen wearing some sort of brace on his left arm.

Colorado may have to turn to the transfer portal to add more depth considering they lost former Florida State transfer Omarion Cooper to the portal, after he was expected to be switching from corner to safety. Earlier in the portal window, the Buffs also saw former Arkansas transfer Myles Slusher enter his name into the portal.
