The Minnesota Timberwolves shocked the NBA world on Saturday, defeating the defending champion Denver Nuggets 106-99 to win Game 1.

Anthony Edwards had a monster performance. His 43 points played a key role in Minnesota's upset win in a hostile Denver environment.

It's not too often we've seen Nikola Jokic and this Nuggets team lose at home in the postseason. It emphasizes Edwards' performance and how special it was.

After Game 1, ESPN's Mike Greenberg took to social media with a scorching hot take about which player in the Timberwolves-Nuggets series is best, and he didn't pick Jokic.

"In the building of the best player in the world - Ant was by far the best player on the floor. At the risk of stating the obvious - that kid is special. #Timberwolves #Nuggets ," Greenberg said on X .

Something tells us Nikola Jokic will have something to say about that in Game 2. Don't be surprised if Denver comes out with a vengeance on Monday night.
