Multiple bear sightings reported in Wrentham, Ayer
Officials are warning residents to take down bird feeders as the spring sees bears emerging from their dens searching for food. In the Wrentham area, there have been several bear sightings this week, according to the Town of Wrentham & Plainville Animal Control. On Sunday, a bear was spotted on Foxboro Road trying to get into a bird feeder hanging from a porch window, and on Tuesday, animal control said it received nearly 10 emails about bear sightings.

Massachusetts homicide victim found dead behind his workplace in crowded area
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (TCD) -- A homicide investigation is underway after police found the remains of a 30-year-old man behind a business in a public area over the weekend. On Saturday, April 20, at around 10 p.m., officers with the Framingham Police Department responded to Worcester Road, where they found Anthony Lopez deceased near the trash area behind Hot Table, a local restaurant where he worked.

Man arrested after driving more than 100 mph on I-93 in southern New Hampshire, state police say
WINDHAM, N.H. — A Massachusetts man was arrested on Tuesday after state police said he was driving more than 100 miles per hour on Interstate 93. New Hampshire State Police said troopers were conducting high-visibility traffic enforcement and during the effort, a trooper in the state police aircraft saw a 2015 BMW traveling 108 mph.
Marlborough fire official says mobile home blaze will likely result in total loss
MARLBOROUGH — A mobile home off Route 20 is likely a total loss after being hit by fire on Tuesday afternoon, a fire official said. The fire occurred at the Post Road Mobile Home Park due to an electrical issue, Assistant Fire Chief Jeffrey Emanuelson said later on Tuesday.
