As a Johnstown resident, this day is easily one of my favorite days of the year. Food, fun, and fireworks. What could be a better way to celebrate summer than that?. Johnstown BBQ Day in Parish Park has been an annual event for over 50 years. Prior to Johnstown BBQ Day, a local annual celebration has taken place in Johnstown since 1912. Johnstown BBQ Day was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and returned in 2021.

Greeley Police: Man arrested for eluding stolen vehicle
A man who was arrested by Greeley police last month on charges of vehicular eluding in a stolen vehicle remains behind bars at the Weld County jail. The Greeley Tribune reports police handcuffed Cesar Navarro on May 17 on the 3000 block of Lakeside Drive following a chase in which they said Navarro drove recklessly, ignored a stop sign and collided with another vehicle, and nearly rammed a patrol car.
