If you live in Weld County, next month the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment is inviting you to a tire disposal event. The tire disposal event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Household Hazardous Waste Center, 1311 N. 17th Av., Greeley, reports the Greeley Tribune. The pilot program event, previously limited to residents of unincorporated Weld County, will help reduce waste and the environmental impact of improperly disposed tires.
