A long-awaited gas station and convenience store is finally open in northern Colorado. The first Buc-ee's in Colorado opened its doors to the public on Monday morning.The convenience store is 74,000 square feet with more than 100 gas pumps and 12 EV charging stations. Police looking for missing 11-year-old girl in northern Fort Collins
Police in Northern Colorado are looking for a missing 11-year-old girl who goes by Zandria. It wasn't immediately clear how long she's been missing, but Zandria was last seen leaving her home near the 1500 block of Blue Spruce Drive wearing a beige sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, white tennis shoes and a red and white backpack.Fort Collins police say she's 5'07" and 180 pounds.Fort Collins police believe Zandria she's on the north side of town.Anyone with information about her whereabouts is being asked to call 911 or Fort Collins police at 970-419-FCPD.

An investigation into a police officer's shooting of a 32-year-old man who was allegedly holding a woman and her two children hostage in Fort Collins last month revealed the man's declaration to his mother that he wanted to "die like his brother" at the hands of police.Colten Sirio was wounded by gunfire following a Feb. 7 interaction with Fort Collins Police Services Officer Ryan Fandre. Poudre School District is looking at boundary changes, school consolidations and closings to address declining enrollment. A Facilities Planning Steering Committee, which includes school staff members, parents and guardians, members of the community and members of the district’s employee associations, has been tasked with "evaluating data and engaging the community to develop its recommendation about how PSD should move forward in the years ahead," according to the PSD website.
