16 Alleged Members of Outcast Motorcycle Gang Indicted in Bryan County
Attorney General Chris Carr, Atlantic Judicial Circuit District Attorney Billy J. Nelson, Jr., Richmond Hill Police Chief Mitch Shores, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Atlanta Field Division Special Agent in Charge Ben Gibbons, Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Special Agent in Charge Israel Cadieux, and Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) President Jose Ramirez today announced the arrest and indictment of 16 alleged members of the Southeast Georgia Chapter of the Outcast Motorcycle Gang. This is considered the largest motorcycle gang indictment in state history and its announcement follows the culmination of Operation Patronus, a multi-agency investigation involving gangs and guns in Southeast Georgia and beyond. This operation resulted in the recovery of approximately $180,000 in cash and the seizure of 71 guns, among other items.
Traffic on I-16 westbound redirected to Hwy 280 due to motorcycle death

Small plane crashes on departure from Statesboro Airport
There were no injuries reported in a small personal airplane crash at the Statesboro Bulloch County Airport on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Public safety agencies were dispatched at 3:25 pm to the plane crash at the airport. According to Flightaware.com the locally owned single engine, Beechcraft 35 Bonanza initially departed the airport at 2:06 PM and flew in circles around the airport before landing and attempting to take off again where the plane crashed. The owner of the plane was not piloting the plane at the time of the crash. He said the plane had been in for service and was being test flown at the time of the crash. The preliminary report from the FAA states that the plane crashed for unknown reasons at the end of the runway on departure. High speed motorcycle chase ends in crash in city
A motorcyclist suffered extensive injuries after a Friday night crash while fleeing police. Bulloch County Sheriff's deputies were alerted of a motorcycle that was eluding Jenkins County Deputies around 11:24 PM on Friday, June 2, 2023 on Hwy. 80 heading toward Bulloch County. The chase began when the motorcyclist did not stop for the Jenkins County deputies around 11:15 PM. Bulloch Deputies made contact with the motorcyclist around 11:24 PM and attempted to also stop him. His speed exceeded 112 mph as he entered the county. He was reported at speeds above 90 mph when he entered the City of Statesboro. According to GSP Sergent Robbie Scott he failed to negotiate a curve on Northside Drive, just past Martin Luther King Boulevard, due to the high rate of speed. He left the roadway and struck a parked car in the parking lot of Atlantic Tint. Bulloch County EMS Paramedics transported the 34 year old male to EGRMC with serious injuries. He was later flown to Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. An updated condition was not available at the time of the story.

Deadly Motorcycle Crash: Officials identify man killed in Effingham County wreck

Update 1:37 p.m.: According to the ECSO, deputies were dispatched around 8:40 p.m. Preliminary investigation indicates that Martin, of Ellabell, was attempting to pass a semi traveling west when it struck a passenger car head-on that was traveling east. The resulting collision led to Martin dying at the scene.
