The Philadelphia 76ers are creeping up in the first-round series against the New York Knicks. Philly took Game 3 at home after trailing 0-2 in New York. The series is turning into a brawl as the 76ers gain traction.

ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith believes the 76ers have a juggernaut on their side. He thinks that if Joel Embiid were able to stay healthy, he may be the best player ever at his position.

"If [Joel Embiid] were healthy ... there would be religious conversation, is this not the greatest big man we have ever seen in the history of basketball?," said Smith on First Take, via X.

Embiid has dealt with a plethora of injuries, not only throughout his career, but even in the series against New York.

He's currently dealing with a knee injury, as well as an eye issue.

Smith's comments may hold true to Embiid's talent, but that's a bold take for someone with a slim NBA playoff resume.
