Four people charged after shooting reported in Parkersburg, police say
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WCHS) — Four people were charged after a shooting was reported in Parkersburg on Saturday, police said. The arrests stem from an incident about 8 a.m. in the 1600 block of Tygart Street where Robert Aguilar, 27, was found with a gunshot wound, according to a news release from the Parkersburg Police Department.
Marietta Police investigating body found on banks of Muskingum River
MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) -Marietta Police are investigating after a body was found in the Muskingum River on Tuesday. This was off Gilman Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Police say the coach of the Marietta row team spotted a man’s body on the banks of the river. The body had been there for a few days, according to police.

BELPRE, Ohio (WTAP) - The 1700 block of Washington Boulevard in Belpre is currently closed due to a water main break. According to the Belpre Police Department, there are signs showing where detours are. There is no timeline for the repairs, but Belpre Police say it could take all day.
Rain out of the way for the morning commute
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Some showers and gusty winds pushed through the Mid-Ohio Valley last night ahead of a cold front. That has now passed through and kicked out any shower activity for the morning commute. Roads are drying out but will be a bit damp as the sun rises this morning. Cloud cover will be ample this morning but will diminish to partly cloudy skies before the lunchtime hour and continue into the afternoon. Temperatures will be on the mild side to start with 50s across the region, but with the cold front passing by, we will not warm up that much this afternoon. Daytime highs will only be in the mid-60s, a bit cooler than yesterday afternoon. Winds will be on the lighter side today with a northwest wind of around 5 to 10 mph.
