Clippers Coach Ty Lue Finally Speaks On NBA Future After Playoff Exit

The Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers are now both out of the playoffs, losing in the first round. There are questions surrounding the future of both squads, but the major connection between the two is Clippers' head coach Ty Lue.

Lue could be headed to the purple and gold, due to the firing of Darvin Ham from the Lakers. LeBron James and the Lakers are searching for a new leader and they've been heavily tied to James' former head coach as the postseason progressed.

If Lue were to depart from the Clippers and they couldn't agree on an extension, he would also be one of, if not the most sought-after coach on the market.

When asked about his future following the Clippers' Game 6 loss to the Mavs, Lue gave a clear answer to where he wants to be.

"I didn't come here to bounce around and go all over the place... This is where I want to be... I would love to be here long term," said Lue, via NBATV on X.
