FOLSOM, Calif. — The Folsom Pro Rodeo at the Dan Russell Rodeo Arena will include performances from the first-ever Sacramento County Sheriff’s Rodeo during its July run. Folsom’s Snooks candy store to expand in 2024
FOLSOM, Calif. — Snooks Candies & Chocolate Factory in Folsom is expanding and hopes to complete the project by Christmas 2024. The candy store, which stands on the corner of Sutter and Wool streets and has a been a part of the Historic District since 1984, will expand into the space next door after renting it out to another tenant for over 20 years, according to Eric Snook, a third-generation confectioner in the family business.
Folsom approves bonds for low-income senior apartments
The Folsom City Council approved bond funding last week for the proposed "Vintage At Folsom" low-income senior housing project on East Bidwell Street. The Vintage at Folsom multifamily project is a new construction, 100-percent affordable, age-restricted, multi-family rental development proposed for a 4.86-acre site located at 103 East Natoma Street.
