Reader input: AUSD trustee demands retraction, public apology
I am writing on behalf of Trustee Jayson Wedge concerning the defamatory statements made by your organization in the flyer distributed to the Auburn Union School District community. Specifically, the flyer falsely accused Mr. Wedge of being involved with "anti-government groups," a claim that is entirely baseless and has caused significant harm to his reputation.

Four Placer High School juniors will be delegates to the American Legion-sponsored California Boys State and Girls State to be held at the California State Fairgrounds and UC Davis. Standing behind Janet Collins are Wayne Smoot, Ed Brackenbury and Charles Stanton, who will represent the Loomis, Auburn and Colfax posts. These outstanding students were chosen on the basis of scholarship, citizenship and leadership qualities to participate in a project designed to teach practical civics.
