Multiple people dead in morning house fire in Rose Hill
ROSE HILL, Kan. (KWCH) - According to the Butler County Undersheriff Daimon Cundiff, three people have died following an early morning house fire Saturday morning. Officials said the call came in just after 3a.m. in the area of 15000 SW County Line Road. That is north of Rose Hill on the Sedgwick County-Butler County line.
Mother seeks change at Wichita intersection where her son died
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Saturday marks two months since a Derby man died after a crash at Rock Road and Bradley Fair. Twenty-two-year-old Gabriel Cortez lost his life in February and a memorial still stands where he died. His mother is asking for a change at this intersection and some people agree.

Two people, pets unharmed after electrical fire rips through Derby home
DERBY, Kan. (KAKE) - Two people and their pets are lucky to be alive after a house fire in Derby on Wednesday night. The Derby Fire Marshall says just before 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, neighbors reported fire engulfing the rear of a home in the 1200 block of Briarwood. Derby units arrived on the scene within three minutes and began to work to extinguish the fire.
