47-year-old Wausau man pleads guilty to 2021 homicide
WAUSAU − A 47-year-old Wausau man pleaded guilty Friday to shooting a man who was sitting in a vehicle on Fifth Avenue in 2021. Michael L. Turner was scheduled to start his trial Monday for first-degree intentional homicide and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon. Instead, he pleaded guilty to the two charges on Friday. Marathon County Circuit Judge Suzanne O'Neill scheduled sentencing for May 28.
