Camp Phillips Road To See Closure Next Week Due To Construction
WESTON, WI (WSAU) – Beginning on Monday, a section of County Highway X (Camp Phillips Road) will be blocked to facilitate the replacement of a culvert. On Monday morning, the work is expected to start at 7 a.m. until Thursday, August 1, when the crews hope to have completed the repairs and reopened the road. The section of the construction will be north of Northwestern Avenue and south of County Highway N.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WJFW) — Renovating a home can be expensive, but one local organization is stepping in to help families upgrade their properties. Habitat for Humanity in Wausau is hosting its first Rock the Block event, which focuses on renovating homes in the Wausau community. Tiffany Arnold, the Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity of Wausau, explained that Habitat for Humanity is an international organization with a mission to mobilize volunteers for affordable housing and bring that mission to life in northern Wisconsin. Arnold mentioned that they offer a variety of programs.
