All-you-can-eat Asian restaurant opens in Henrietta | Exclusive

MOSU Asian BBQ & Hot Pot has opened in the former Red Lobster at 655 Jefferson Road in Henrietta. It is the second location for the Albany-based restaurant. The restaurant offers two interactive all-you-care-to-eat experiences: Asian BBQ, in which diners cook their food on gas-fired ceramic charcoal grills, or hot pot, in which they cook their food in broth. Diners have two hours in which to enjoy their meals. The Asian barbecue menu includes beef, lamb, poultry, seafood and vegetable choices. The hot pot menu is made up of broth bases, ranging from mild to spicy, to be combined with meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles and/or rice. The menu offers vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, halal and gluten-friendly options. Its bar also serves craft cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, sake, soju and an a la carte menu of shareable plates. Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 20% off bar fare, house wines, beer and sake. Built in the mid-1970s, the Red Lobster building had been vacant since May 2024, when the casual-dining seafood chain shut down dozens of locations nationwide and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy (from which it later emerged). Burger King in Hornell will show off its new "sizzle" restaurant redesign and treat guests to special giveaways, prizes, free samples and other surprises at a public ribbon cutting celebration on Saturday, Nov. 7. Trader Joe's plans 2 new New York stores. See where they're going

Two new Trader Joe's stores are planned for New York, expanding the popular grocery chain's presence in the state. The California-based retailer announced plans this summer to open new locations in the Syracuse area and Yonkers as part of its latest nationwide expansion. The plans add to the company's growth in New York, which includes a Long Island store that opened earlier this year. The expansion comes as Trader Joe's continues to draw shoppers with its private-label products and competitively priced groceries. Where are the new Trader Joe's stores? According to Trader Joe's, the two planned stores will be located at: Camillus: 3515 W. Genesee St., in the Syracuse area. Yonkers: 2482 Central Park Ave. The Camillus store, located just west of Syracuse in Onondaga County, will be about 9,000 square feet and become the area's second Trader Joe's. The existing Syracuse-area store is at 3422 Erie Blvd. E. in DeWitt. The Yonkers location will cover about 10,000 square feet. When will the new Trader Joe's stores open? Trader Joe's has not announced opening dates for either New York location. Spokeswoman Nakia Rohde said new stores typically open within three to six months of being announced.
