Rochester man charged in taxicab driver's killing
A Rochester man has been arrested in connection with the death of a taxicab driver earlier this week. David Porter, 36, of Rochester, was apprehended in the town of Chili without incident on Tuesday evening, according to Rochester police. He faces charges of second-degree murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the robbery and killing of taxicab driver David Treese in the North Marketview Heights area on Monday.

Law and Order: Driver reportedly involved in accident in Pavilion charged with DWI
Amirose E. Hume, 35, of West Main Street, Le Roy, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08 or greater, and moved from lane unsafely. Hume was charged by Deputy Ryan Mullen following a one-vehicle accident at 1:12 a.m. on April 18 on Roanoke Road, Pavilion. Hume was transported to the jail for processing and released.
