LIMA, N.Y. — Police with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation recently saved an injured bald eagle in a suburb of Rochester. A farmer and property owner in the Town of Lima in Livingston County spotted a bald eagle that was "stumbling around on the ground" and "unable to fly" on May 13. They reached out to the DEC, which dispatched an officer and a regional wildlife technician to the scene.
